Description
As a child, I have fond memories of my mom making homemade root beer. She would go to Horning’s Market in Bethel and buy a bottle of Root beer extract. She would add sugar, yeast, root beer extract and water to a gallon pitcher. We would put it in the refrigerator and drink it as a treat! The first time I had Root beer Rooibos, it took me back to being 12 and enjoying some homemade Root beer. This aromatic tea will intoxicate your senses and surpass your expectations. The beautiful dark amber color will remind you of a root beer barrel. If you add vanilla creamer, you can experience a root beer float! This tea tastes wonderful both hot and cold!

Memory Lane: As a young child living in Kempton, PA, we would go fishing along the Maiden Creek River. There was a set of railroad tracks that we would walk down to get to our favorite fishing hole. Along the railroad tracks, the sarsaparilla trees were plentiful. We would break off branches and peel back the bark to reveal a slightly wet and bare branch. We couldn’t wait to put the branch into our mouth and chew on it, releasing a sarsaparilla, root beer flavor! Now when I taste root beer, great memories of fishing and my mother’s root beer drink come flooding back!
